The PADI Rescue Diver course is known as one of the most fun, yet challenging course you will ever take. During the course, you will learn about self-rescue, and how to assist another diver in the water. In addition, you practise problem solving skills, while becoming a more accomplished diver.

To start, you will need to have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care <link>training within the past 24 months. You may also chose to do the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Specialty course during the same time.

Knowledge Development

PADI program can be completed on your own convenient time using the PADI eLearning. Once you sign up, you will receive is an online program by email, where you are required to complete the knowledge review and watch the PADI video at your own convenience. Once completed, your instructor will do a quick review with you on the knowledge development. Anytime during the course, you can contact our instructor to discuss and ask questions which you encounter during the PADI eLearning.

The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond.

Confined Water

During your confined water training, you put into practice your knowledge and skills which covers self-rescue, recognizing and managing stress in other divers, emergency management and equipment, rescuing panicked divers and rescuing unresponsive divers.

Open Water

Your instructor will put you into practising all the skills practised during confined water. This is some serious fun, where you will put into simulated scenarios, while you head out to fine-tune your rescue skills.. You can opt to complete this section at Tioman, Redang, Tenggol or Perhentian Island. Do check with us to choose your favourite island to complete your course.

Upon completion as per PADI Standards, you will be awarded with the PADI Rescue Diver wall certificate by your instructor. You will also receive the Positive Identification Card (PIC) within 3 months of your certification date. PADI Open Water Diver certification is recognized worldwide so your diving experiences will be limitless.
